Set Free

Hey Friends!
Life has been sooooo busy. Between school, dance, and Church, I rarely have time to relax. I don't know if you ever feel weighed down, but I know I sure do. I am so often feel confined to expectations that the world puts on me. I have to make all As. I have to be the best dancer in my class. I have to make the auditions. I have to be perfect at all times......Does any of this sound familiar? Friends, when Christ died to set us free, He set us free from EVERYTHING! Not only did He free us from our sinful past, but the chains (such as expectations and standards) were broken! Galatians says," For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery."This yoke of slavery holds us back from doing His good works. When we set ourselves to the standards of the world, were limiting our potential. God has so much more in store for you than any worldly goals. So what if you don't make the team? God can still use you where you are. Christ has given Himself up so that we can live in a relationship with the Father. Our sole purpose on this earth is to bring Glory to His name, not to be a straight A, top of the class student or perfect fashonista.
Friends, let's live our lives like we've been set free. Don't allow the burdens of expectations to hold you back. God has an individual plan for every one of us!
