Have courage and be kind
The new Cinderella movie is my absolute favorite movie ever. I love the classic Cinderella story- not just the part where she falls in love with the prince(which is magical) but Cinderella's hopeful attitude that's is unfailing. Even when her stepsisters were cruel to her and she had no material wealth, she believed that there was hope. In the end, her hopeful and positive attitude landed her with a crown and Prince Charming !
I'm currently in a situation where I can't say I'm getting fair treatment. What's my natural instinct? Obviously being quick to anger and fighting fire with fire. However, that's defiantly not what Jesus does! Cinderella teaches us all a lesson. Never ever let other people get into your head and be kind to everyone. Now, this phrase is defiantly easier said than done!
Friends I'm really working on this one. Being kind and being Jesus to people who aren't sweet to you is perhaps one of the hardest things ever. But, as Cinderella showed us, being kind has its rewards. We have the hope of Chirst, yall we are princesses! With the responsibility of being a princess comes the responsibility of acting like one- even when you're not treated like royalty. Also, remember that as His Princesses, were called to treat everyone like they're wearing a crown. We (humanity) are the result of an overflowing of love between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Let's share that love and show our sisters(and brothers) that they're made in His image and worthy of love and the royal treatment!
Have courage and be kind!
