You are loved.
Growing up, I was a tough skinned tomboy. When i started middle school
and i really got to know the Lord, He has(and still is) softening my heart. Im
at the beginning of my sophomore year in high school and up until last year, I
was perfectly confidant in my self. My freshman year, I began to feel insecure
about my physical appearance. Even to this day, I tend to feel insufficient
when it comes to my physical appearance and sometimes even my personality. My
nose is crooked, my face is round, Im not a size zero and I like hamburgers. I
tend to be a joyful and encouraging person, but I tend to put on a face when Im
around certain people. I don't always fit in. But you know what? God made me
with a purpose. He knows the number of hairs on m head. You know what friends? If you ever feel insecute or unloved, you are
not alone. Psalm 139 is my favorite passage at the moment. After realizing how
insecure I was, I began meditating on His love and His care for my heart and my
life. If you’re feeling down or lonely, remember He knows your heart. He
knows every move that you make and He listens to your every cry.
You are known.
You are cared for.
You are loved.
